Job Summary:
Cleveland, Ohio A Medical Imaging Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography (CT) is needed to perform diagnostic procedures in a multi-modality environment. This position involves operating imaging equipment independently, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining quality standards across various radiology modalities. The role requires a commitment to delivering high-standard patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School Equivalent or GED; Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology; at least 1 year of experience in the first radiology modality and completion of second modality orientation; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification; Certification by ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality; State of Ohio licensure
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in CT modality and troubleshooting skills; ability to instruct students and new staff after 1 year of experience
- Additional Information: The technologist must demonstrate effective organizational, communication, and technical skills across imaging equipment, PACS, EMR, and RIS systems. Proficiency in maintaining imaging and exam protocols, quality control, and customer service is essential. The role includes patient age-specific care, equipment quality assurance, and compliance with healthcare regulations, including regulatory inspections and safety standards.
