Job Summary:
The Oregon-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist is responsible for operating fluoroscopy equipment and supporting interventional cardiovascular procedures within a short-term acute care facility. The role involves float capabilities between units, including neuro and structural heart procedures, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The technician must be adaptable and prepared to work day shifts scheduled for 10 hours.

Job Details:

  • Location: Portland, Oregon
  • Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Radiology Technologist license, at least 1 year of cath lab experience, specializing in fluoroscopy operation within a cath lab setting, and certification in ACLS and BLS. Experience with angioplasty, stent placement, cardiac catheterization, embolization, and related interventional procedures is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Neuro procedural experience, including carotid and cerebral angios, stroke thrombectomy, and cerebral coil embolization, with proficiency in EPIC charting system.
  • Additional Information: The candidate must be flexible to float between units as needed, support procedures involving fluoroscopy and interventional radiology, and have experience working in a neuro or structural heart setting. Candidates should be physically equipped with transportation for the assignment. The role may require participation in holiday shifts, with scheduling requests to be submitted upfront.
  • Travel & Licensing: Candidates must hold or be eligible to apply for an Oregon Medical Imaging license. Applicants with active out-of-state licenses are accepted. Travel compliance and reference verification are required.
  • Other Requirements: Candidates should not reach out directly to the facility and must meet all specified patient ratios and procedural skill requirements. A vehicle is required for this assignment.
