Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is located in Marquette, Michigan. This role involves providing specialized support within the cath lab suite at a regional healthcare facility. The position focuses on performing invasive cardiovascular procedures and supporting diagnostic imaging services in a busy, multispecialty environment.
Job Details:
- Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH)
- Location: Marquette, Michigan
- Facility Department/Cost Center: Cardiac Imaging
- Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts starting at 7:00 am and 8:00 am, with a schedule of 40 hours per week
- Schedule: 10 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); valid licensure or credentialing as a Cath Lab Technologist; one year of related experience or more; location must be in Michigan or willing to travel for the assignment
- Additional Information: This role involves performing general procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, arterial line insertion, coronary angioplasty, intra-aortic balloon pump management, Impella device support, intravascular ultrasound, stent placement, thrombolysis, venography, and wave wire procedures. Candidates should have experience with hemodynamic calculations, right and left heart catheterization, structural heart procedures, vascular interventions, and electrophysiology studies. The position requires adherence to safety and procedural protocols, with competitive on-call requirements involving a 30-minute punch-in window after notification.
