Job Summary:
The Floyd, Virginia region is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in outpatient care. This full-time float position involves working across multiple outpatient clinics, providing comprehensive and evidence-based therapy to diverse patient populations. Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours daily, with at least 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from a CAPTE-accredited program; current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility; CPR certification or willingness to obtain; ability and willingness to travel between clinic locations. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in outpatient settings is advantageous.
- Additional Information: Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized care plans. Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions for orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, balance, vestibular, and mobility-related conditions. Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology and the Raintree EMR platform for efficient clinical workflow. Maintain an average caseload of approximately 10-12 patient visits daily, promoting a patient-centered clinical environment focused on excellence.
