Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Details

  • Hospital-based CT Scan unit serving Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, and ICU areas
  • Patient population includes Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric cases, with Neonatal and Infant experience preferred
  • Performs Abdomen and Pelvis CT with and without contrast, Chest CT with and without contrast, Head and Neck CT with and without contrast
  • Additional procedures may include Aspirations, Biopsies, Brain Perfusion, CT Arthrography, Colonography, Drainage, Myelography, Transplant Studies, and Vascular CTA
  • Spine and musculoskeletal imaging including Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar, and Musculoskeletal Trauma
  • Uses PACS system along with GE and Siemens CT equipment
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • 4x9 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM
  • May float to any facility campus as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
  • BLS and ARRT CT certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patient populations required; Neonatal and Infant experience preferred
  • Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, and ICU experience required; NICU and PICU experience preferred
  • Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
  • Experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred
  • Level I Trauma and Pediatric Acute Care setting experience preferred
  • Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
  • Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Responsibilities include preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
  • Calcium scoring/Cardiac CT skills preferred
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local rates apply
  • RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application; requests made after submission will not be accepted
