Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Scan unit serving Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, and ICU areas
- Patient population includes Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric cases, with Neonatal and Infant experience preferred
- Performs Abdomen and Pelvis CT with and without contrast, Chest CT with and without contrast, Head and Neck CT with and without contrast
- Additional procedures may include Aspirations, Biopsies, Brain Perfusion, CT Arthrography, Colonography, Drainage, Myelography, Transplant Studies, and Vascular CTA
- Spine and musculoskeletal imaging including Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar, and Musculoskeletal Trauma
- Uses PACS system along with GE and Siemens CT equipment
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- 4x9 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM
- May float to any facility campus as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- BLS and ARRT CT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patient populations required; Neonatal and Infant experience preferred
- Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, and ICU experience required; NICU and PICU experience preferred
- Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
- Experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred
- Level I Trauma and Pediatric Acute Care setting experience preferred
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Responsibilities include preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
- Calcium scoring/Cardiac CT skills preferred
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local rates apply
