Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This role involves operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce diagnostic images according to established protocols and under the supervision of certified radiologists. The technologist will also assist in clinical procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain quality standards to support accurate interpretation and diagnosis.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; successful completion of an accredited Computed Tomography (CT) Program preferred; one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred; registered in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or current certification in Radiography from SCRQSA; current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ARRT registration in CT.
  • Assists other members of the Imaging Team and/or other disciplines including clerical staff in order to maintain records, reports, and files. Demonstrates flexibility and accountability, takes initiative, and helps wherever needed to support departmental operations.
  • Adheres to safety policies, including radiation safety principles such as ALARA, and follows guidelines from OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC.
  • Assists with patient preparation, obtains accurate clinical information, and communicates effectively with patients and family members regarding procedures and discharge instructions.
  • Ensures proper operation and care of imaging equipment, minimizes repeat examinations, and promotes quality imaging practices.
  • Responds actively to patient needs and maintains a professional and positive demeanor in all interactions.
  • Exercises responsibility during on-call shifts and adheres to departmental schedules, including working weekends and holidays as needed.
