🔥 DAY-SHIFT CT TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – WEEKDAY ROUTINE IN UPSTATE NEW YORK

 

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for a skilled Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist in Auburn, New York. Operating within the imaging department at Auburn Community Hospital, this position features a stable 5x8 daytime schedule. Please note: First-time travel technologists are accepted on a case-by-case basis based on clinical experience. Local candidates are also accepted.

 

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

  • Weekly Gross: $2,686.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246.00
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $36.00/hr
  • Overtime Rate: $54.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (09:00 AM - 17:30 PM). Block scheduling configurations are not available.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
  • Clinical Scope & Work Settings: Coverage across both Adult Acute Care and Adult Outpatient settings. Patient age groups range from neonates and pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • Technical Responsibilities: Preparing and administering contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, executing contrast CT exams, and strict adherence to isolation precautions/PPE protocols. Procedures cover head/neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis (with/without contrast), and spine/musculoskeletal imaging (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma).
  • Equipment Suite: Experience across major vendor scanners including GE, Siemens, Philips, and Toshiba integrated with PACS.
  • EMR Charting Systems: Paragon documentation (training provided) and Allscripts.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent, hands-on clinical CT Technologist experience is required.
  • Licensure: Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License must be active at submission. Clinicians must possess contrast injection certification on their license (or the facility will assist with completing NYS Injection Certification upon arrival).
  • Certifications Required: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. ARRT (CT) registry and Fluoroscopy certification are preferred but NOT mandatory.
  • Vaccine Guidelines: Both COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required (medical/religious exemptions and formal declinations are allowed).

Former permanent employees of Auburn Community Hospital are not eligible for travel roles. Returning travelers in good standing are eligible to return. Travel pairs can be submitted for consideration on a case-by-case basis. 🏖️ Upfront Requested Time Off (RTO) Parameters: All RTO requests must be submitted upfront with the initial profile. Any RTO requested after an offer is issued will be denied, and the traveler will be responsible for peer coverage coordination.
