Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a home health position serving Massac, Johnson, and Pope counties, requiring at least one year of acute care PT experience.
Details
- Home health setting covering Massac, Johnson, and Pope counties
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- On-call requirement of one weekend per month
Requirements
- Kentucky PT state license required; license required if applicable
- Minimum one year of experience as a PT in an acute care setting
- Home care experience desired
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance with candidate listed as a named driver
- Strong communication skills with ability to create positive impressions with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers
- Detail-oriented, observant, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include making sound clinical PT judgments, identifying patient needs, and applying therapy best practices in a home setting
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- Two professional supervisory references from within the past two years required for consideration
