Inpatient Physical Therapist (Physical Therapist Inpatient) based in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing physical therapy services to acutely ill patients within an inpatient care environment. Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in inpatient or acute care settings.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 36-40 hours per week; candidates should be available to work 2 to 3 weekends during the assignment.
- Position Description: Responsible for treating 8-12 patients daily, coordinating with occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team. The team works collaboratively to distribute patient care tasks and adjust to daily needs without a strict productivity tracker but with a weekly monitoring system.
- Additional Information: The role involves flexible start times (7:30 AM or 8:00 AM) and requires working in an acute care environment with a focus on inpatient rehabilitation.
