Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional speech, language, and swallowing therapy in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. The ideal candidate will be experienced in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and the delivery of therapy aimed at improving communication and swallowing functions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Document services provided in compliance with all relevant regulations and facility standards.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and their families.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA).
- Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
