Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 12-week travel assignment, requiring an active PT license and at least 6 months of recent experience.
Details
- Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting with a team of 3 full-time PTs, 1 PTA, and 3 PRN PTs
- Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 7am-7pm, with flexible scheduling within an 8am-5pm shift
- May be required to float to Inpatient Rehab, Acute, or Outpatient Rehab areas
- Uses Meditech Magic and ReDoc/NetHealth EMR systems
- Equipment includes Hoyer Lift, treadmill, elliptical, and Sci-Fit machines
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 6 months of recent experience within the last 6 months in the specialty
- Outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Neurological patient experience preferred
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Professional reference requirements vary by state, with most states requiring one reference
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient setting
- Collaborates closely with speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physicians as part of a team-oriented environment
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
