Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in Illinois. This role involves assisting with x-ray imaging and scrubbing Cath Lab cases, including left and right heart catheterizations, device placements, peripherals, and carotid procedures. The position requires providing high-quality patient care during complex cardiovascular interventions in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Location: 405 W Jackson St, Carbondale, Illinois, 62901
- Position: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist
- Schedule: Dayshift, four 10-hour days, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Hours per week: Minimum of 36 hours
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in electrophysiology and cardiac procedures, Illinois state licensure, IEMA certification for the state of Illinois, and at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with complex cardiovascular procedures, familiarity with Cath Lab equipment, and experience in a hospital setting.
- Responsibilities include assisting with coronary and peripheral interventions, ensuring procedure safety, and maintaining equipment as per SOP and clinical standards.
- Schedule may include one weekday of call per week, one weekend every four weeks on a rotating schedule, and holiday coverage as assigned.
- Additional Information: At least 2 years Cath Lab experience preferred. IEMA certification required for Illinois.
