Job Summary:
The hospital in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a CT Technologist for a day shift position. This role involves performing computed tomography procedures according to department and facility policies, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. The position supports the medical imaging team by providing accurate and timely imaging services to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program. National Certification required from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CNMT)). State Licensure required for Arizona, Wyoming, Nevada; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire (not required in Colorado). Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required within 18 months of hire from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(CT)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CT)). Certification for BLS is required. This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data and solve problems.
- Additional Information: Performs prescribed procedures following referring providers' orders, verifies accuracy, and ensures optimal care delivery. Educates patients and families regarding procedures and/or treatments. Produces high-quality images, maintains documentation, and ensures safety standards. Demonstrates competence in performing invasive or interventional procedures as applicable. Responsible for equipment quality control, troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe environment. Adheres to safety policies and maintains confidentiality. Ensures efficient workflow and adequate supplies are available. No supervisory responsibilities.
