Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Gettysburg, PA. This position involves providing specialized care in a 4-bed pre/post unit with PCI procedures without open-heart backup, basic electrophysiology device implants, and usage of high-end equipment such as Shockwave, IABP, Impella, and Philips Allura fluoroscopy. The role is suitable for a candidate with a background in cardiac catheterization procedures and a focus on adult patients.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, certifications in ACLS and BLS, EPIC charting system experience preferred, PA license required, minimum of 2 years of experience in related clinical procedures, and proficiency with complex cardiac equipment and monitoring.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Call Requirements: Call rotation on weekends and overnight as needed, with 12 days per month.
- Holidays: as needed.
- Float: None.
- Additional Information: The candidate may care for COVID-19 patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance free; applicants should notify prior to submission. Local rate is slightly lower than posted. RTO preference is maximum 7 days. Travel pair policy allows for pairs but schedule matching cannot be guaranteed.
- Submission Notes: Must have NBSTSA certification for OR Tech/CST roles. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians must possess valid PA licensing. Mammography technologists must have performed at least 200 mammograms in the last 24 months, hold active ARRT registration, and meet MQSA standards. Candidates must complete required modules before start and pass EKG exam within 72 hours if applicable.
