Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Louisville, KY. The CT Tech will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, administer contrast as required, and work closely with radiologists to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT scanning experience
- ARRT (CT) Certification
- Active Kentucky (KY) Radiologic Technologist License (or eligible)
- BLS Certification
- Experience with:
- CT Scanning
- Patient Positioning
- Imaging Techniques
- Radiation Safety
- Imaging Equipment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders.
- Prepare and educate patients before examinations.
- Administer contrast media as directed.
- Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
- Ensure quality control and proper equipment operation.
- Assist in training students when required.
