Job Summary:
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in skilled nursing facilities in Humansville, Missouri. This role involves screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. The position requires developing and monitoring individualized treatment plans following all regulatory and clinical standards, and providing consultation to patients, families, and care teams.
Job Details:
- Certifications: Certified Clinical Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC), State License for Missouri required
- Education & Experience: 1 year of speech-language pathology experience required; New graduates are acceptable if they have Level II experience and not just observation hours
- Location: Humansville, Missouri
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: CCC certification, Missouri state licensure, 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology, ability to supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists, adherence to ASHA and State practice acts and ethical standards, active ASHA and State Licensure, submission of at least one reference at the time of application
- Additional Information: Must be able to obtain necessary DME or supplies, participate in facility and company trainings, and attend required meetings. On-call and weekend work are not required unless a holiday falls on a weekday, then hours can be made up on the weekend.
