Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient position located in Michigan. This role involves providing speech, language, and dysphagia services to adult patients, including evaluations, treatment planning, and home programs. Candidates must be able to work independently, hit the ground running, and manage both inpatient and outpatient services effectively.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 9 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week, with start date on 09/21/2026 and end date on 12/21/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, current Michigan speech-language pathologist license, active Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 2 years of pediatric speech-language pathology experience, VFSS (videofluoroscopic swallow study) experience required, must be willing to work in inpatient and outpatient units, travelers permanent address must be included in profile, and candidate must have their own vehicle.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience preferred, VFSS experience required.
- Additional Information:
- Location considerations: The organization will consider travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility at a 10% decrease in rate per hour.
- Time off requests during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; requests after offer or during interview may not be approved.
- RTO (Return to Office) requests are limited to no more than 5 days.
- Must include all scheduling requests with submission.
- EMR: McKesson. Dress code: Business casual or matching scrubs.
- Holiday, OT, and call-back multipliers: 1.25; Call: $4/hour.
- On-call: Yes, rotating weekends (typically 1x/month).
- The candidate must have completed skills checklist for Speech Language Pathology and include a supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years.
