Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is located in Brunswick, Georgia. This role involves providing direct patient care and assisting cardiologists during all phases of procedures performed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The technologist works primarily with adult and elderly patient populations, supporting clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; overtime and on-call responsibilities may be required.
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited technical program in Cardiovascular Technology or a healthcare-related associate degree with Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification; must have current RCIS credential; must be at least 80 miles from the facility; valid driver's license required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in a cardiac catheterization or special procedures laboratory are preferred.
- Additional Information: The role requires assisting cardiologists during all procedural phases in the cardiac catheterization lab, working primarily with adult and geriatric populations.
