Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Pediatrics
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in providing high-quality therapeutic services to pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children of all ages and diverse backgrounds, offering direct patient care and support.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with various speech and language disorders.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the patient’s speech and language needs.
- Provide 1:1 therapy sessions targeting specific developmental goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Engage with families to educate and provide resources regarding speech and language development.
- Document patient progress using the preferred charting system, Meditech.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid license to practice in the State of Oklahoma.
- American Speech-Hearing-Language Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- BLS certification for Healthcare Providers is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with pediatric populations in a therapeutic setting.
- Age Groups: Infants, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.
- Conditions Treated: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental/Speech Delays, Sensory Disorders, Neurodegenerative Diseases, and Swallowing Disorders.
The therapist will manage a daily caseload of approximately 10-12 patients with a focus on individual therapy sessions, supporting various diagnoses including but not limited to expressive/receptive speech language disorders and feeding aversions.
