Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT/Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT (CT)(R) certification and 2+ years of experience performing both CT and diagnostic X-ray exams.
Details
- Work in the Radiology department of an acute care hospital
- Perform both CT and diagnostic X-ray exams independently
- Uses GE and Konica imaging equipment
- Documentation through Meditech and Centricity PACS
- Weekend shifts scheduled Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- On-call coverage required, including weekends and holidays
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, including fluoro, interventional, trauma, and portable cases
- ARRT certification required for both CT and Radiography (CT)(R)
- CPR certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with Meditech and PACS systems
- Exceptional customer service skills required
- Must have US Social Security Number and date of birth on file (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
- One professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform the full range of diagnostic radiology procedures and exams
- Black scrubs required as part of the dress code
- Facility is a top-performing hospital offering open heart surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and an Accredited Chest Pain Center
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
