Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) at a rehabilitation-focused unit located in Highlands, North Carolina. This role involves evaluating and treating patients admitted to the hospital with a strong emphasize on outpatient therapy services. The position offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped rehab environment with a dedicated team committed to patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Standard OT license, BLS certification, 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient therapy, ability to evaluate and treat patients with a rehab focus, strong communication skills
- Additional Information: This unit provides comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments, including outdoor therapy options. It features a newly renovated rehab gym with various equipment, a fully functional kitchen, and laundry setup. The unit has a patient ratio of approximately one patient per hour, supporting personalized care. Staff typically includes around 2 CNAs per shift, with a rehab tech available 20 hours weekly. The team may float to a neighboring facility within the same building if needed.
