Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position available in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, performing procedures such as interventional radiology and structural heart interventions. The position requires working days with a consistent schedule and the ability to float across campuses as needed to support operational requirements.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current (Cardiac Cath Lab) experience, active ARRT certification, valid drivers license, BLS (AHA) certification, willingness to take call, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring experience, proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring, and valid licensure documentation.
- Preferred Qualifications: RCIS certification, structural heart experience, interventional radiology experience, EP experience, travel experience within the previous 18 months, peripheral vascular experience, and proficiency in skills specific to the discipline listed on the job.
- Float: Float rotation may be required across all Des Moines campuses to like units.
- Submission requirements: Candidates must be able to quickly interview via phone call or text from a 405 area code.
- Orientation Dates: 08/24/2026, 08/31/2026, 09/08/2026, 09/14/2026 earlier starts will be prioritized.
- Additional Information: The role involves working scheduled holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day), with requirements to work 1-2 of these holidays unless the unit is closed. Call shifts are scheduled overnight once a week and every third weekend with a 7:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. schedule. Call back compensation is 1.5 times with a minimum of 2 hours. Flexibility to float and perform on-call duties is essential.
