Job Summary:
An Interventional Radiology Technician (IR Tech) position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves assisting with specialized interventional radiology procedures, including chemo delivery, GI bleed management, vein sampling, and cryoablations. The position is suitable for clinicians with at least one year of experience, holding relevant certifications, and licensed to work in the state.

Job Details:

  • Certifications/Education Requirements: BLS, ARRT Radiography Certification, Washington State License, ACLS preferred.
  • Experience requirements: At least 1 year of clinical experience in interventional radiology procedures.
  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Call Requirements: Two full weekends in a six-week period and nine weeknights.
  • Clinical responsibilities include assisting with Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds, TPA vein sampling, phase 2 recovery, and cryoablations.
  • Equipment and system familiarity: Pyxis medication system, EPIC documentation system.
  • Patient diagnoses: Handling biopsies, GI, GU/Renal, peripheral vascular, pulmonary, CT, endovascular lab, and stent placement cases.
  • Travel and staffing: Must have at least one year of travel experience or relevant clinical exposure.
  • Additional information: Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities; double references covering the last three years are required. Drivers must commit to working three of the five holidays and must request specific scheduling preferences upfront.
  • Duration of assignment: September 14, 2026, to December 14, 2026.
