Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Radiology Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) at a healthcare facility located in Seattle, Washington. The role involves performing advanced imaging procedures, primarily CT scans, within a busy adult and geriatric patient population. The position requires independence during overnight shifts and collaboration with a CT assistant to ensure efficient patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, Friday through Sunday, with on-call availability on a voluntary basis.
- Required Qualifications: Certified as ARRT in Radiography (ARRT R), ARRT in Computed Tomography (ARRT CT), BLS certification, Washington State license, minimum of one year of experience (two preferred) in CT imaging, trauma center or high-acuity experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with abdominal, brain perfusion, chest, pelvis, and vascular CTA imaging; proficiency in Electronic Medical Records systems like Epic; knowledge of multislice CT scanners (GE, Siemens); experience with contrast media preparation and administration; familiarity with PACS and various advanced imaging procedures.
- Additional Information: The selected candidate must have a valid Washington license in hand prior to start. Candidates should be comfortable working independently for solo overnight shifts, with the ability to handle a caseload averaging approximately 25 cases per day. Flexibility to work on holidays, with specific scheduling requests to be communicated upfront, is required. Certification and experience in adult and occasional pediatric imaging are necessary. The position involves working in a busy environment with complex imaging procedures and patient transfers.
