Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient specialty position available in a coastal region where scenic ocean views meet dense forests. The role involves planning and conducting treatment programs aimed at restoring and enhancing patients' physical, social, and mental functions. The position requires serving as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Job Details:

  • Location: Coastal region with natural beauty, outdoor activities, and a small-town atmosphere.
  • Schedule: Day shift, Wednesday through Sunday, with 8-hour shifts from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree (required if license obtained on or after January 2016 or foreign equivalent), two years of Physical Therapy experience (preferred), valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice, CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (required).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with outpatient and inpatient settings, EPIC electronic health record system experience.
  • Essential Functions: Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards, utilize appropriate clinical techniques and tools, develop individualized treatment and discharge plans, communicate plans with relevant parties, produce accurate clinical documentation, supervise assigned assistants, and perform additional duties as needed.
  • Organizational Requirements: All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available. The organization participates in E-Verify and related employment eligibility verification processes.
