Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT) certification and 2+ years of specialty experience for a 13-week assignment in a hospital setting.
Details
- Rotating shifts including 2x12 hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) and 2x8 hour shifts (10:30 PM-7:00 AM) on a biweekly schedule
- Adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU work settings
- Performs CT imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest with vascular studies
- Includes coronary CTA special procedures
- Uses GE equipment and PACS system
- Epic charting system experience required
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Skilled in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
- Proficient in peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
- Valid state license or certification required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsible for CT imaging across multiple anatomical regions including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest
- Performs contrast media administration and vascular studies including CTA and pulmonary embolism protocols
- Any scrub color accepted
- First-time travelers will be considered for this role
- Candidates must have RTO finalized prior to submission, with no additional time off accepted after submission
- Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at an adjusted rate
