Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 5+ years of experience and BLS/RT certification.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 167-bed, Level III Trauma Center
- Serves patients of all ages
- Common cases include cardiac catheterizations, pacemakers, permacaths, ports, and vascular leg cases
- Uses GE equipment
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, working 7 days on/7 days off
- On-call required as needed, including weekend callback if needed
- No floating required
Requirements
- BLS and RT certification required
- RCIS certificate or RT degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
- Certification/licensure required to work as a Cath Lab Tech in TN, if applicable
- Scrubbing and case monitoring skills required
- Experience transporting patients and assisting in workup/recovery preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to start
Additional Information
- Responsibilities may include monitoring cases, transporting patients, assisting in workup and recovery, and stocking the department
- Facility provides scrubs; casual wear and other facility-branded clothing not permitted
- Outgoing personality and strong team player preferred
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
- Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time during assignment
