Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist with expertise in computed tomography (CT) Portland, OR. This role involves operating advanced CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, along with performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures. The position requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a busy healthcare environment.

Job Details:

  • Shift Time: Days
  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with flexibility to have either Monday or Friday off.
  • Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology, licensed and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with certification in Computed Tomography (CT). Must be registered by the ARRT (R.T. (R)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)), with advanced certification in CT. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per healthcare organization policy. Licensure and certification requirements must be maintained and current.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification in CT (ARRT-CT) preferred in California and Hawaii, required in Oregon and Hawaii.
  • Additional Information: The role involves assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care across a wide age range, from adolescent to geriatric. Responsibilities include producing reformatted sagittal and coronal images, transferring images using PACS and teleradiology systems, maintaining accurate records in adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality standards, performing routine maintenance on imaging equipment, and managing supply inventory. All associates are required to receive necessary vaccinations as a condition of employment, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons.
