Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with ARRT registration and CT certification for a night shift hospital radiology assignment.
Details
- Hospital-based Radiology department setting
- Night shift schedule, Monday-Thursday, 1830-0500
- 4x10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- ARRT registration required
- CT certification required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, not expiring prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
- Active license required (license required if applicable)
- Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) required for this assignment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer applications
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures including patient positioning, immobilization, and contrast administration per Radiologist protocol
- Operate and maintain X-ray imaging and related equipment appropriately
- Coordinate examinations to ensure timely, high-quality, and continuous patient care
- Evaluate image quality and submit required images to Radiologists for interpretation
- Follow Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety
- Practice sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention policies
- Supervise and evaluate student radiographers in the clinical setting
- Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, Radiologists, and leadership
- Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
