Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (INTRA CL) Technologist position in a healthcare facility located within the designated service area. This role involves providing scrub assistance during interventional procedures, operating angiography equipment, and performing float duties as assigned. The technologist will set exposure parameters in accordance with ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles, prepare patients and equipment for procedures, and ensure timely image post-processing and submission to PACS. The position requires a thorough understanding of imaging techniques, protocols, and ancillary equipment such as IVUS, US, and EKOS.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California State Fluoroscopic Permit, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Certification by the State of California Department of Health Services in Diagnostic Radiology. New hires without certification are required to obtain it within three (3) months of hiring.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with interventional radiology procedures and operation of ancillary equipment such as IVUS, US, and others.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include preparing for procedures by entering patient demographic data, inventory setup, post-processing images, verifying documentation in Qsight and EPIC, and routine cleaning of procedural areas and equipment. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.
