Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and 2+ years of ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT experience for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Tech position covering ED, main campus, outpatient, and nearby clinics
- 13-week assignment on a 7 on / 7 off schedule
- 4x10 hour night shifts Wednesday-Saturday from 2100-0730
- 3x12 hour night shifts Sunday-Tuesday from 1900-0730
- Candidate expected to float between ED, main campus, outpatient, and clinics within walking distance of main campus
- Uses Epic EMR
- Uses GE imaging equipment
- No call requirements
- Required to work if a scheduled workday falls on a holiday
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT settings
- Epic EMR experience required
- GE equipment experience required
- Compact or LA license required in hand at time of submission
- License required if applicable
- LSRT skill required
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team during declared emergency events, requiring on-site presence until the event concludes or relief arrives
- Facility does not consider first-time travelers
- Facility does not accept local candidates; must live 65+ miles from the facility
- Orientation held five days a week
- Candidates must apply for allied health licensure within 72 hours of signing if accepting with a pending license
- Former Ochsner Health permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a 1-year separation before returning as a travel employee
- Requested time off must be disclosed during the interview process
