Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and 2+ years of ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT experience for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

  • Hospital-based CT Tech position covering ED, main campus, outpatient, and nearby clinics
  • 13-week assignment on a 7 on / 7 off schedule
  • 4x10 hour night shifts Wednesday-Saturday from 2100-0730
  • 3x12 hour night shifts Sunday-Tuesday from 1900-0730
  • Candidate expected to float between ED, main campus, outpatient, and clinics within walking distance of main campus
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • Uses GE imaging equipment
  • No call requirements
  • Required to work if a scheduled workday falls on a holiday

Requirements

  • ARRT (CT) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT settings
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • GE equipment experience required
  • Compact or LA license required in hand at time of submission
  • License required if applicable
  • LSRT skill required

Additional Information

  • Perform CT imaging across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings
  • May be assigned to an Emergency Team during declared emergency events, requiring on-site presence until the event concludes or relief arrives
  • Facility does not consider first-time travelers
  • Facility does not accept local candidates; must live 65+ miles from the facility
  • Orientation held five days a week
  • Candidates must apply for allied health licensure within 72 hours of signing if accepting with a pending license
  • Former Ochsner Health permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a 1-year separation before returning as a travel employee
  • Requested time off must be disclosed during the interview process
