The organization is seeking a CT Technologist in Warren, Michigan. Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, rotating between days and nights.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible. The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in CT or diagnostic radiology.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: Tasks include explaining procedures to patients, reviewing clinical data, preparing the procedure room, administering intravenous contrast media, monitoring patients for reactions, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety principles. The role also involves image management through Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), study indexing in Radiology Information System (RIS), and adherence to clinical protocols. The position may require physical effort including lifting equipment or patients.
- Technology & Skills: Experience with GE, OEC C-Arms, Carestream portable imaging, and a strong foundation in customer service and teamwork are essential. Demonstrated proficiency in radiation protection, patient preparation, and image management is required.
