Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient specializing in inpatient care in LADYSMITH, Wisconsin. This position involves providing therapy services primarily within an inpatient setting, supporting patients with orthopedic, neuro, imbalance, and weakness diagnoses. The role requires working with acute inpatient, swingbed, and outpatient populations, incorporating both clinical expertise and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Certifications Required: BLS (AHA)
- Education Requirements: No formal degree specified, but valid license required
- License Requirements: Wisconsin License
- Location Requirements: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility
- Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience outside of school, ideally 3 years; inpatient experience preferred, outpatient experience considered
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 10/05/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid Wisconsin license; BLS certification; minimum 1 year of clinical experience outside of school; experience in inpatient and outpatient therapy; prior Cerner experience preferred
- Additional Information: Orientation begins on day one with one-on-one training, computer-based modules, and supervised patient care with a preceptor. Clinicians will be expected to manage a caseload independently by the third day. Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
- Specific duties include managing a caseload of 10-12 patients daily with diagnoses mainly orthopedic, neuro, imbalance, and weakness. The role involves approximately 2-3 hours of inpatient and swingbed coverage daily, along with outpatient services.
- Scrubs or business casual attire accepted; closed-toed shoes required.
