Position

Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Experience-Based Classification

• PT Level 1: 0–3 years of relevant outpatient physical therapy experience
• PT Level 2: More than 3 years of relevant outpatient physical therapy experience

Required Experience

• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• New graduates accepted.
• Experience managing orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions preferred.
• Ability to float to other clinics as needed.
• PTA candidates are not accepted.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, recovery plans, and injury prevention.
• Manage an outpatient orthopedic caseload efficiently.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and clinic staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Float between clinics within the travel team network as needed.

Patient Population

• Outpatient Orthopedics
• Adult orthopedic and musculoskeletal patients

Productivity Expectations

• 60 visits per week
• Approximately 12–14 patients per day
• Double-booking of follow-up visits expected.

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing to float to neighboring clinics based on staffing needs.
• Travel team clinic option available.
• Local and travel candidates accepted based on distance requirements:
  • Local: Within 50 miles of the clinic location.
  • Traveler: More than 50 miles from the clinic location.
