Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting requiring a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and 2+ years of PT experience including inpatient rehab.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within the Physical Therapy department
- Day shift schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Required to float within the facility
- No call requirements
- MedHost EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current TX PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab experience
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Evaluate and treat patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Solid color scrubs required
- Radius requirement of greater than 50 miles from the facility for consideration
- Not eligible for candidates who worked as permanent staff at a CHS facility within the past 2 years
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
