Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist for a facility located in Peoria, Illinois. This position involves providing advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging services in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The role requires experience with Level 1 trauma cases and operating GE brand CT scanners, with a focus on delivering quality patient care during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with start times at 7:00 PM on nights, and 7:00 AM on days. The position requires working every third weekend, specifically Friday and Saturday nights or Saturday and Sunday days, with flexibility for additional call or holiday coverage if desired.
- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; ARRT certification; BLS certification; minimum of 1 year of experience performing basic CT scanning; experience with Level 1 trauma cases; proficiency in starting IVs; previous travel experience; ability to operate GE CT scanners; knowledge of Epic EMR; ability to work in a high-pressure environment with high patient acuity.
- Additional Information: This position is located in a 640-bed facility with five GE brand CT scanners. The department uses Epic for electronic charting. The successful candidate must be available for orientation, which typically lasts about 1 week.
