Job Summary:

Job Details:

  • Location: Cook, Minnesota (zip code: 55723)
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; shifts start at 7:00, 7:30, or 8:00 AM, with the last clock-out at 5:30 PM.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R); minimum of 2 years of experience, including CT and X-ray procedures. Candidates must be willing to learn and perform ECGs and be comfortable with first-time travel for assignments.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CT scans of strokes, traumas, CTA, AAA dissection; familiarity with Cannon Aquillon Prime SP CT scanner and Carestream X-ray equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Responsibilities: Performing general X-ray imaging such as extremities, spines, and chest; conducting CT scans related to strokes, traumas, CTA, and AAA dissection. No fluoroscopy, arthrograms, or Barium studies are involved.
  • Shift Details: Variable start times included in shifts; scheduled by the manager. No 12-hour shifts.
  • Weekend Requirements: One weekend call shift per month, beginning at 5:30 PM on Friday and ending at 7:00 AM on Monday.
  • Call or Standby Requirement: Weeknight call approximately once per week, starting at 5:30 PM with a 15-minute response time; candidates should be within 20 minutes of the hospital. During call, meal, room, and board are provided.
  • Charting System: MEDITECHBSN
  • Licensing: Valid license to submit application.
  • Trauma Level: Care setting appropriate for acute care.
