Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in a Level II Trauma Center located in Bangor, Maine. The role involves primarily day shifts with rotating overnight coverage, including weekend rotations and holiday scheduling. The facility provides advanced imaging services with Siemens CT and X-ray equipment, serving a broad patient population including adults, geriatrics, and neonates. The position offers an urgent start date to accommodate staffing needs.
Job Details:
- Location: 489 State Street, Bangor, ME 04401
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday rotations as required.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) with CT certification, active Maine state license, BLS certification, 1 year of experience, and eligibility for employment dependent upon interview.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens CT and X-ray equipment, proficiency in CTA studies, IV start skills, and experience with Siemens Definition CT.
- Support on the Unit: Lead Tech and department administration support. Multiple CT/Radiologic Technologists scheduled for each shift.
- Technical Equipment: Siemens CT and DR rooms, Shimadzu Portable OEC, Siemens C-Arms, Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and Enterprise Imaging PACS system.
- Orientation: 1 to 1.5 weeks, based on experience and comfort level.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Other notes: Scrub color: any solid color as long as professional or provided by the facility. Parking is available free of charge.
