Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) located in Missouri. This role involves implementing clinical interventions following the American Health and Safety Administration (AHSHA) protocol, evaluating patient progress, and developing individualized treatment plans to improve physical functioning and wound care. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with health team members, provide patient education, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Job Details:
- Position: Physical Therapist SNF
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and at least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist; LTC or Rehabilitation experience; Missouri State License; New Graduates considered with Level II experience, not just Level I observation experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Candidates must effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include administering procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care. The therapist must document all clinical and regulatory information accurately, participate in care conferences and meetings, supervise support staff and students, and adhere to practice acts, ethics, and standards.
