Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience for a 12-hour night shift position in an acute care setting.
Details
- Acute care Level 1 trauma facility with a 640-bed capacity
- CT department with 5 GE CT scanners
- 12-hour night shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Fast-paced, high acuity, high volume patient environment
- No floating to other departments required
- Every 3rd weekend required
- No call or standby requirements
- No holiday requirements
- Uses Epic EMR and PACS system
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist required
- Current ARRT and BLS certification required
- IEMA certification required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
- Must be able to start IVs
- Active IL license required, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- Must be able to produce a negative drug screen for all panels
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform basic CT scanning duties in a high-acuity, high-volume department
- Department-specific orientation is typically 1 week, as needed
- Solid color scrubs are acceptable, with some prints allowed
- Local candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for a local rate
- No radius rule restricting eligibility for the position
- COVID vaccination is not required for this facility
