Occupational Therapist (OT) - Pediatrics Job Overview
This role involves providing occupational therapy services to both adult and pediatric patients with a diverse range of diagnoses. The position primarily focuses on pediatric outpatient care, with some adult inpatient coverage as required.
Schedule- Shift: 4x10 hours
- Hours: 07:30 AM - 06:00 PM
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
- Provide coverage for adult inpatient therapy as needed, ensuring comprehensive care across age groups.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and techniques.
- 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with both pediatric and adult populations is preferred.
- Must be willing to travel for the position.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess and implement treatment plans effectively.
- Experience with various diagnoses and therapy techniques.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
