Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient PT position offering exposure to Outpatient Ortho/Neuro, Inpatient, and IRF settings.
Details
- Outpatient Physical Therapy unit within a community-based hospital
- Flexible scheduling options including 5x8 or 4x10 workweeks, with one Saturday per shift required per month and a flex day off granted
- Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- May float to IRF/Acute based units and provide Outpatient supplement coverage as needed
- Treats Outpatient Ortho and Neuro, Inpatient, and IRF patient populations
- Uses specialized equipment including Lite Gait, BITS, Nustep, and IASTM
- Documentation completed in Meditech and Nethealth
- Works alongside an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs, and RNs
- Productivity expectations set below the national average at 75-80%
Requirements
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Basic Physical Therapy skills required as an independent clinician
- Inpatient rehab and acute care experience preferred but not required
- Must be willing to learn and remain flexible throughout the workday
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
