Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 10-hour shifts, 0700–0730 start; on-call requirement may apply approximately 3–4 days per month with a 30-minute response time
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols and patient care standards
- Float between CT and X-ray modalities as needed to support department operations
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment including CT scanners, DR rooms, C-arms, and portable units
- Participate in on-call rotation as discussed during the interview process
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety compliance
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Active California Radiologic Technology license
- Fluoroscopy certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to meet on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time
- Multi-modality experience (CT and X-ray) strongly preferred; CT-only candidates will be considered
- Experience with GE and Siemens CT and DR room equipment, OEC C-arms, and Carestream portable units
- Two supervisory references from the submitting modality required, including at least one within the past 12 months and one within the past 3 years
- Radiation monitoring badge provided by the agency for the duration of the assignment
- Training provided on unit equipment where necessary for qualified candidates
