Radiology Technologist 
Location: Winterhaven, CA 92283 
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) 

  • Excludes Federal Holidays 

Estimated Start Date: Pending Award and Completion of Credentialing Process 

Compensation 

  • Hourly Rate: $40.00
  • Travel weekly stipends (if applicable): $1,246
  • Please keep in mind that payroll is processed on a biweekly basis. 

Contract: 6 months - 1 year with an option to extend 

Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services in an ambulatory care setting. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety, and produce accurate diagnostic images while maintaining compliance with IHS, radiation safety, and facility standards 

Requirements: 

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography
  • Active, unrestricted license or authorization required by applicable state or local regulations
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in diagnostic radiography or ambulatory imaging
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and/or PACS
  • Ability to obtain and maintain IHS security clearance, credentialing, and background requirements
  • Compliance with continuing education and radiation safety requirements 

Responsibilities: 

  • Verify patient identity, prepare patients, and perform diagnostic X-ray procedures
  • Operate radiology equipment safely while producing high-quality diagnostic images
  • Document imaging studies accurately in the EHR, RIS, and PACS
  • Follow ALARA principles and all radiation safety, infection control, and equipment safety protocols
  • Monitor image quality, perform routine equipment checks, and report equipment issues
  • Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality assurance, competency validation, and required safety training
