Job Summary:
Springfield, Missouri CT Technologist This position involves performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans independently at a technical level in a hospital setting. The role includes patient transport, observation of universal precautions, proper use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to dress code protocols. The technologist will also follow established downtime procedures, perform post-processing procedures, and utilize various workstation systems to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified registered CT technologist with at least 1 year of experience in a hospital environment, holding current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT), and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke and trauma cases, proficiency with GE imaging equipment, and familiarity with PACS, HIS/RIS, and Vitrea workstations
• Additional Information: The position involves caring for emergency room and inpatient patients, requiring a positive, friendly, confident, and compassionate personality. Evening orientation occurs on day shift, and availability is required throughout the entire week. The individual must be proficient in equipment use, manipulation, image evaluation, and have strong communication skills.
