Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a 13-week contract position.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Procedures include angioplasty, IVC filter placement and removal, fluoroscopy, and special procedures using Siemens equipment
- Charting via Cerner
- 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for 4x10-hour shifts
- On-call is required Monday–Friday 4:00 PM–9:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, rotating among 4 technologists
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- At least one prior travel assignment required
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Maryland state license required if applicable
- ARRT (VI) certification preferred
- Proficiency in IR skills including angioplasty, IVC filter placement/removal, fluoroscopy, Siemens equipment operation, sterile technique, and scrubbing to maintain a sterile field
- Cerner charting experience
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided
- Orientation is held every Monday
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- All time-off and scheduling requests should be disclosed upfront during the consideration process
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
