Travel Physical Therapist – Acute Therapy Services
LocationGuthrie, Oklahoma
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days (5x8, flexible to 4x10s) | Onsite | Start Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | No Weekend or Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Evaluate and treat patients with neurological and orthopedic diagnoses
- Perform wound care assessments and interventions as applicable
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members using lab results and patient assessments to guide clinical decision-making
- Document patient care and progress utilizing the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Work independently under limited supervision while maintaining high standards of patient care
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
- Outpatient physical therapy experience is required
- Experience treating neurological and/or orthopedic patient populations
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions with limited supervision
- Experience with wound care in a clinical setting
- Prior travel therapy or acute care hospital experience
- Critical need placement offering immediate start with a guaranteed 36-hour work week and no weekend or on-call obligations
