Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves working in a fast-paced, high-acuity facility providing a broad range of imaging services. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures across a busy environment, including the possibility of floating between multiple departments. The position is scheduled for nights, with shifts starting at 7:30 PM and ending at 7:00 AM, including weekends and possibly holidays.
Job Details:
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts starting at 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shifts may include weekends and holidays, depending on departmental needs.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R); Education/Certification: At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist; Location requirement: within 50 miles of the facility; Flexibility to float to other imaging modalities such as MRI, X-ray, and Ultrasound if necessary.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens equipment, Bracco contrast injectors, Level 1 trauma experience, and travel experience.
- Additional Information:
- Department has 8 treatment areas and performs a variety of imaging studies, including cardiac and perfusion imaging.
- Performs venipuncture and possesses knowledge of methods required for high-quality imaging.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Must be proactive, self-motivated, and possess excellent customer service skills.
- The facility is high volume with high patient acuity, requiring team players who can adapt and problem-solve efficiently.
- Equipment utilized includes Siemens scanners and Bracco contrast injectors.
- The candidate must submit a license to perform imaging procedures and be willing to work scheduled nights, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- RTO (Request for Time Off) must be requested upfront for no more than 7 days within a 13-week contract. No additional RTO will be approved after submission.
