Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 1+ years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, including structural heart procedures.
Details
- Short term acute care hospital, Level IV Trauma Center, and major teaching hospital affiliated with COTH
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting with daily caseload of 8-10 cases per technologist
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call required with 30 minute response time
- Weekend on-call rotation from Friday 7 PM through Monday 7 AM, rotating AM/PM first and backup call
- May float within scope to other areas as needed, though will primarily remain in the Cath Lab
- Uses Cerner EMR for charting
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required, with competency in all aspects of Cath Lab diagnostic and interventional procedures including structural heart
- Must be ARRT registered
- Active WV state license required prior to start of assignment; candidates with pending license may be submitted
- License required if applicable
- RCIS certification is not accepted as licensure to work in the Cath Lab in WV
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Scrubs provided
- Free parking available for travelers
- Candidates must reside outside a 100 mile radius of the facility, though those within 75-99 miles may be submitted for facility approval
