Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and 2+ years experience for a pediatric and adult outpatient caseload with cross-training in acute care.

Details

  • Outpatient pediatric and adult settings with cross-training for acute hospital care services including swallow studies
  • 1:1 caseload with patients ranging from newborn to geriatric age
  • Treats diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, speech delay, sensory disorders, food aversion, TBI, and CVA
  • Utilizes Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and performs Modified Barium Swallow Studies
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Meditech charting system experience preferred

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required
  • Oklahoma state license or compact license required, if applicable
  • Two references required, may be pending at time of consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide speech-language therapy services across pediatric and adult outpatient populations
  • Support acute care services within the hospital setting as needed, including swallow studies
  • Local candidates not considered; must reside outside a 45 mile radius from the facility
  • Travel pairs are allowed for this position
  • RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
